Designers can switch effortlessly between motion graphics and VFX, within a unified system built on the most intuitive particle software on the market.

Compatible with the existing particle modifiers, object deformers, Mograph effectors, Hair and thinking particles. Their instinctive particle system enables artists to quickly generate a massive amount of content from scratch with just a few simple steps, offering enormous design possibilities by combining the vast amount of unique Effect Modifiers.

The all-new xpClothFX Dynamics system brings remarkably fast cloth simulations right into the X-Particles workflow. It’s the next chapter in our ongoing journey to bring our users a fully unified dynamics system right inside Cinema 4D.


The next chapter in particle control, with xpFlowField, the possibilities are endless. They can be mixed and layered to push directed particle effects to the next level.


xpSplineFlow enables you to create organic, dynamic, smooth flowing particles along a Spline. Animate the Splines by keyframes or deformers, xpSplineFlow updates in real time. Creating natural flowing realistic simulations has never been this easy.

xpCirclePacker & xpCellAuto

xpCirclePacker allows you to emit your particles while dynamically avoiding intersections. It works in unison with all Emission shapes, Surfaces, Volumes and Splines, enabling you to create beautiful animations.
The xpCellAuto object generates particles based on three different Cellular Automata Algorithms. Elementary, Game of Life and Diffusion-Limited Aggregation, each of these algorithms creates unique results from geometric, repetitive patterns to natural organic growth simulations.

xpStrangeAttractors and xpNewtonGravity

Our new Motion modifier will enable you to create abstract, chaotic particle animations. Teamed up with our xpTrail object to create beautiful animated flowing splines; Trail objects can be meshed with xpOpenVDB to generate abstract custom geometry easily.
Make realistic gravity and orbit animations. Add an object or multiple objects into the Attractors window, and each object can be given an individual gravitational field. Particles can orbit each object, and you have control of the speed and intensity of the gravitational pull.

Our latest release introduces industry standard particle meshing with the powerful xpOpenVDB framework. With a streamlined workflow for meshing using our filtering system, you can generate smooth flowing surfaces, remesh geometry objects or create complex models. xpOpenVDB has it covered.

xpVertexMap Maker

Create fully procedural real time Vertex Maps inside X-Particles 4. xpVertexMap Maker works with Object Vertices, Textures, Particles and our new xpExplosiaFX feature.
xpExplosiaFX Part I

xpExplosiaFX brings you remarkable, realistic smoke and fire simulation capabilities inside X-Particles 4. With an abundance of settings to play with, you have unparalleled control of your scene.
xpExplosiaFX Part II
